Last week i threw a code for a misfire on cylinder 3. I replaced all 4 plugs and switched my the #3 coil pack with #2 (to make sure that wasn't the issue) Well guess what, I threw the same code again. Car seems to be running fine. The cylinder fire like this: 1,4,2,5,3,6. So if you don't get the voltage and you get half 0.542v this mean the any of the cable running from the coil to the pcm is broken (most common problem is in the pcm due to the position)

Hmmm. Worth investigating for sure. So my previous vehicle where I battled this what a 2015 BMW M4 tuned or a mix of e85 and 93 octane. Checked for errors and found that it was a misfire on cylinder 2. Any ideas what I should do? Car was serviced about 2 months ago which included having the cambelt changed.

ONLY GET ONE CODE - Cylinder 2 misfire. Sometimes random cylinder misfire as well if left on long enough. This only happens when the car warms up. After about 60 sec I hear the actuators on the top of the valve covers click a few times and then the car shuts off cylinder 2.

A Multi Cylinder misfire is impossible in a new 3.6 unless there is a bad ECU or cylinder head issues. This sounds like one they will want to buy back and tear down for an engineering review. If you just deal with the service department you will spend your time in frustration!
Oct 25, 2020 · Put #2 plug back in #1 hole. Put #1 plug back in #2 hole. Put #1 coil back on #1 cylinder. Put #3 coil on #2 cylinder. Put #2 plug on #3 cylinder. Drive. If you get P0301, the plug (which you moved from 2 to 1) is bad. If you get P0303, the coil (which you moved from 2 to 3) is bad. If you get P0302, something else is wrong.
The misfire code could be caused by many different things, but all of them point to either not correctly gapping the plugs or not correctly managing the fuel delivery (larger injectors possibly?). The only other options would be due to the skunk2 cam not being properly calibrated and therefore throwing off the cam sensor (which you pointed out).
